Matero Holdings, LLC was founded with both vision and ambition. With a wide range of interests and investments across multiple industries, co-founders Alex Ober and Max Maloney created Matero Holdings to be the glue that holds these disparate interests together under one title.
While some may say that our many interests lead to a divided spirit, we at Matero Holdings view our foundations and influences from across industries as the ethos of our company. Matero Holdings was built on the belief that the seemingly unrelated can influence and affect each other in profound ways, often leading to advancement or wonder.
Let’s look to nature for an example of this ethos – take Sea and Earth, or Land and Ocean. These are the epitome of disparate forces, environments so different that scientists look to deep sea creatures to estimate what alien life will be. However, where the ocean and the land meet is one of the most beautiful places known to mankind, whether that is a beach or a cliffside.
Co-Founders Alex and Max felt so strongly about this example of their ethos that they named their company Matero for the meeting of the words Maro and Tero, which mean Sea and Earth respectively in the Internacia Lingvo, or Esperanto.
While Matero Holdings, LLC is still a small company, we continue to grow and explore new industries and ways that these industries can benefit each other.
